Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, a surprise launch by Xiaomi only in Thailand we’ve finally managed to get ou hands on it and in today’s blog let’s review it, see wha xiaomi is done here, hey guy her Hari from TechnoTamil, let’s get started
First thing which we notice after we unbox the redmi note 6 pro is the colour. Yes, you know a nice little change from the regular xiaomi  colours we’ve been saying. We then have the regular things:
  • Information leaflets
  • Silicon case
  • Micro USB cable
  • 10 watt travel adapter
Let’s now take a closer look at the redmi note 6 pro. From the back this still resembles its predecessor a lot, they are most identical, but their are some noteworthy differences, so let’s start with the cosmetic changes,
  1.   The way the middle back is placed, on the redmi note 5 rpo we have sharpen cuts for the top and the bottom, here it just gives a kind of curve, it looks better now.

  1. The headphone jack is up now and the secondary noise canceling mic, IR blasters are moved now.

  1.    The primary micro phone is now similar the speaker below , sadly the one change that we actually wanted i,e micro USB to type C, that has not been happened.

  1. Moving on to the next change, its with the display there here has a not so the aspect ratio has change it’s noe 19:9, its still IPS LCD, it’s still full HD plus  display, the quality more or less fells the same, but the size is larger it’s a six point six inch panel now and that is since it’s got a notch.

  1.    Fifth change is with the notch, earpiece are smaller

  1.    The big change, a second camera is added to the front, it’s a 2 megapixel depth sensor for selfies. Primary camera received it self an upgrade, now it’s a 20MP f2.0 sensor.

  1.    The rear camera sensors are changed, these are the same sensors seen on the redmi note 5AI (sold in China) and the Mi max 3 as well, so let’s expect good things from it.
Now buying this then, Redmi note 6 pro just feels similar to the, note 5 pro. It is a tad shorter a little wider and just about as thick and heavier as its predecessor, so the enhance feel is gonna be very familiar to anybody who’s used a redmi note 5 pro.

Security and performance:

While talking about security the fingerprint scanner was fast and accurate as usual. We did try running some games and the note 6 pro handle itself quit well, thanks to that Snapdragon 636 chip.

Camera:

Rear camera Image:

As far as cameras go, the redmi note explorer should perform better than the Indian redmi note 5 pro, as it supports the same hardware as the chinese redmi 5 AI and the mi max 3 namely. A 12MP Samsung S5K to L7 sensor with larger 1.4 micro size pixel and a faster F 1.9 lens and along with a secondary 5MP depth sensor. As you can see the images look great, the bokeh is shallow, the colours are natural for the most pert and I say most part since it has an AI option and with that the contrast and saturation level are boosted, not to our levels, but boosted enough for us to see a difference

Video:

On the video front, GIS is great the footage looks good but for some reason Xiaomi still has the resolution cap to full HD. this seems really weird, 6:25 touring xiaomi phones that are cheaper than the redmi note 5 throw half 4k enabled why doesn’t the redmi note 5 pro have it  enabled and the weirder question why doesn’t the redmi note 6 pro have it enabled

Selfie Camera:

These shorts you are seeing, are taken with the 20MP f2 selfie camera which has a 2MP depth sensor. So the selfie scene detail the age detection seems fine.

Is it worthy to buy Redmi Note 6 Pro:
So the redmi note 6 pro feels like a good phone, may be even great but i don’t think its an upgrade from redmi note 5 pro, you know it’s not even the 5s pro worth upgrade, it’s very very minor upgrade. It’s priced fo price at roughly 7000 thai baht, which converts to about 15,000 Indian rupees, so that’s surprising.
Finally if you are a Redmi Note 5 pro user, you no need to get jealous about this phone and you are not required to upgrade to it. You can just wait for the upcoming Redmi note 7 Pro
Bye bye;
cheers.(*-*)
