Motorola one power- battery, specifications, price, comments, expectations, review
The motorola one
power , Lenovo owned motorola surprisingly competitive android one offering. I
spent almost a week with this as my primary smartphone and in today’s blog, I’m
going to share my experience with moto one power.
1. Battery:
So
one of the things i was very about with the one power was that five thousand
milliamp (5000 mah) power battery capacity, usually phones with huge battery
feels bulky and difficult to use. The moto one power in hand, yes it is heavier
than the rest. Moto given over a 200 gram of weight it’s almost hundred
and five pounds but it does not feel that much heavier.
2) Build Review:
It’s
almost 9mm thick, but it does not feel like a bulky phone for some reason and
we are talking about build,
a)On the back:
Her
we get the moto logo with the fingerprint scanner( this is something we’ve been
asking for since the moto M, anyway this scanner wasn’t the fastest but it
wasn’t the fastest but it was accurate)for the build mode those used a fair bed
of but from a look standpoint the one power doesn’t really stand out so the
build quality is good but the design is quite ordinary
b)On the top:
The
headphone jack and the headphone jack output was also good and the single
speaker output was also very loud.
c)On the right:
The
keys are in the clicky est’ and micro SD card options are still present unlike some of the
other competition
d) On the bottom:
We
get USB type c and for the build mode those used a fair bed of but from a look
standpoint the one power doesn’t really stand out so the build quality is good
but the design is quite ordinary.
3)
Display Review:
On
the display side here we get a 6.12 inch IPS LCD panel with a full Hd
plus display. It’s a 19:9 ratio yeh there's a notch the module is calling the
max vision sadly there is no option the turn of the notch. That said the
panel is good, with nice colours and excellent viewing angles.
4)
Software Review:
When
we talk about the software. One power runs with stock Android 8.1. Motorola is
promising quick updates and promising android Pie before the end of the
year, with android Q eventually but as with most Lenovo, Moto promises please
take it with a grain of salt they don’t really have a good track record
with updates. The User experience is that good.
5) Processor Review:
Let’s
thanks the snapdragon 636 chip inside, this is a highly capable chip, which we
have seen in the past, on many phones. Yes there are phones with snapdragon 616
in this segment but given stock android here.
The
Motorola one power is great for day today usage and can run even some intensive
games ( Asphalt 9, PUBG and few other heavy games). The Motorola one power
running them smoothly it’s not the highest graphical setting, but yes the
experience was good.
6)
Specifications Review:
The
snapdragon 636 is coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64Gb of on boot storage with an
option to expand it future we have a dedicated micro SD slot. So it’s not an
hybrid and to round up the specs we have:
# 5000mah battery,
# 4Gb RAM,
#64GB
internal.
7)
Charging Review:
The
battery life was excellent with moderate usage getting through two days on a
single charge. It was not a issue at all even when pushed with GPS usage,
camera gaming, the one power easily got me through a day
The
fact that, this phone easily charges and the turbocharger is included in the
box is just icing on the cake, the one power goes 0% to 100% in a little over
two hours.
8)
Streaming options:
The
Motorola one power gets L1 so it can stream HD videos with apps like amazon
prime and Netflix.
9) Complete Camera Review:
The
Motorola one power has two camera on the back a primary 16 megapixel camera
with f1.8 aperture lens paired with a 5 megapixel depth sensor and on
good light these
cameras perform well not the best in the class that would be the mi a2 but this
is quite a competent shooter, example details in the images the colour can get
bit cool at times but for the most part of the they were natural and the
dynamic range was also okay. The presence of the depth sensor meant that this
phone can’t shoot portrait shoot but for some weird reason it can only do it 18
by 9 and with a very awkward prop the colour are a light off her and at low
light the one power struggles the hardware isn’t quite up to the task and Motorola
compensates by pushing by pushing the iso hard resulting in bright but noisey
images it’s still usable but like i said earlier it’s not the best camera in
the segment
Video
it can shoot 4k 30 fps the details and dynamic range is again average but the
footage does look ok, there is no major issues no focus on lag or abrupt
exposure changes that said lack of any kind of stabilizations such as OIS or
EIS
The
12 mega pixels f2.0 selfie camera is concerned it shoots crsp images with good
details, there's a selfie portrait option available and that work ok too
